Is it fair

I know exactly what you mean - my computer has an annoying habit of jusst hanging there - I'll type out a response - hit post and then it just sits there - the little circle goes around like it's loading but it either takes forever or it eventually just disappears and I have to start all over again (and the 2nd or 3rd time your write a repsonse you always seem to forget something :-).) Thankfully though I'm drawing ever closer to the 500 mark - lol I'll probably hit that and my computer will decide to work properly and I'll never need to have that back up copy/paste option. I can partially understand myLots reasoning for it - at least until I see someone with over well over 1000points copying and pasting an article or someone elses response etc.

You won't believe it but it took more than 10 minutes before I could even begin to type this response. Yes, I understand only too well the woes and frustration of a slow slow system. Like you say, it really takes away the fun out of being here because of the long wait for each page to refresh itself. I am thinking of getting my computer overhauled soon. In my case I think it is because I am running out of memory space. Oh, and I don't know whether it is fair or not that only users with a raing of 500 and over can get to copy and paste in discussions - I believe the people in myLot must have a reason for it. If only our computers can run faster than maybe it will be no time at all for us to reach 500 postings. Whatever it is, I wish you all the best and have fun here.

that was also my complain before because my computer had this habi of restarting over and over. but really i think mylot is just protecting its reputation. maybe wghat i can advise to you is to answer just at least four liners for the meantime and hurry it up untill you reached 500 so that you could now copy and pasxte

yes this is true ..some times copy paste become s extreamly useful..other than this if u have a slow speed as u r talkiing of then it become s dificullt since..u answer less no. of discussuiinn. while with high speed u can answer more in less time
