I do not really know if they do. I guess they do. Yes, they can understand human behavior and feelings and they are smart too especially when trained good. I just lost our siberian husky few days ago and I am still hurting from it. I am trying to be strong and let go of the pain. I wish dogs have souls or spirits. I always talk to my baby (husky) every now and then here in the house hoping he can hear me.

I'm 100% sure they do have souls. I lost my dog too a month ago.she was suffering from bone cancer and especially in her last weeks i could easily see the pain she was going through. they definitely have souls. otherwise they couldn't be so affectionate like they are.

i ask myself that to. many people wich are religious said to me that they don't have souls...but i don't belive them i trully thinck that they have one.It is verry tru that they understand us and our feelings and in the same time they suffer when they have a pain, when they need something.

Animals do have souls. All you need to do is to look into their eyes. Sometimes their spirit is with you for as long as you need them. Amani's spirit is still with me. I still talk to him all the time. I feel his presence near me even though he passed away over 2 years ago. All animals have a soul/spirit. They feel as we feel. They do understand us and the lucky ones understand them.
