is love necessary

I think love is a very big necessity in any human beings life. I don't think one HAS to love in a certain way, meaning they don't have to love someone as a life partner but if you were to be born and just left alone, never finding anyone to love or love you back you would probably die of loneliness. There are so many types of love, love between parents and children, love between friends, love between lovers/romance, love between pets and humans. So in general, even if you never find your "life partner", you will undoubtedly experience some level of love in your life.

Yes love of some type is very necessary to exist. If you do not feel love or do not give love then your life is worthless. It does not have to be Love as in being in Love it can be Love for an animal, a person, or an object. Love is what makes the world go around.
