Well I would say that less than 1/10 of my responses were rating best responses. I have less than 1 page of best responses currently. But I am looking forward for more best responses around. I believe that my responses are of quality, and of genuine opinion. I will hardly give a respond that is less than 6 lines. Others say that giving a 3 lines would be sufficient to be counted as a quality respond, I believe that a 5 lines worth of genuine respond would mark a great respond.
I believe that many of the discussions I responded to have not denoted a best response by the poster. Hence, I am still full of confidence in having more best responses. The feel of getting a best response is totally great. Especially if that particular discussion has more than 50 responses. I would feel proud of myself. Well, that is my experience so far, I am quite newbie in my postsings, So i guess i will be looking forward to earn more ratings, and best responses. All the best to you as well!

Another tip for you, make sure that your posts are of insightful, good information, or at least justifiable opnion for the poster. Posters who posts up their discussions usually look for genuine advises like yourself, and if they could get your point of view across to the respondees, you would have done our job well.
And if its appealing to certain good samaritians who happened to see your quality posts, wala, on your way up for good ratings as well. Just keep that in mind, good position in your responses (eg, first page of the discussion responses), truthful responses, & wait for increase in ratings, and the extra element of being rated BR. Once again, stay strong, and have loads of fun here. ^^

thanks.. I really could see the quality of response you are making.. In fact for the 3 responses on this topic so far, I like your reply and you are a candidate for BR on this topic... you have said regarding the 5-line genuine response.. I will follow that advise.. thanks

I think I posted around 900 now and my best response is 100.
When I was responding to a discussion I'm not really after if I will be choose or not I just post what is true and what I have in mind and see to it that it is sensible.

Since i've became member of myLot i gave approx. 2000 responses and i received nearly 100 best responses.
Each BR that i earn is a recognition of the quality and relevance of my participation, as i try to keep focusing on quality when a respond to a discusion.

this is my 162nd post actually.. and from those i only had 2 best response from them.. hmm.. better see what those two are.. the 1st might shock you.. hehe.. of all those what i posted, that became my very first best response that i ever had!^^ funny but its what she thought best..^^

different discussant have different tastes.. My first BR was also funn.. I dont actually expect that... Thnaks to him its just the meaning of LOL that made me have 1 BR up to now..
