Can you write a song?

I write poems, I wish someone will make them into songs. I have a visitor lately she sings in a choir. I gave her my poem I hope she will find someone in her group to make it into a song. I love music even if I cannot sing.

I write songs. I writhe the for myself to perform but if somebody wanted to buy them i would probably sell them to them. I would love to be a professional songwriter not just for the artistic recognition but that is where the money is in music. How do you get paid for writing songs?

I can write lyrics, but I don't do it professinally..though yeah I can sing, for some complicated reasons I'm in a band either lol. I love lyric writing though..I don't know what it is about it,but when the words flow..I can swear my blood sings lol.

When I was young I sang in a punk band. I wrote only political lyrics because punk is a music against the power and the system. Yes, some punk bands of nowadays have nothing to do with politics, but twenty years ago we went to the punk concerts also to do politics. I don't belong to a music band now, so I don't write songs anymore, but three months ago I read a sexist lyric by a stupid male band and I replied to their song with a feminist one. I took a lot of time to write it because I decided to use the rules of the prosody, the rhymed verses and the right accents in every hendecasyllable.

I write most the songs in both tagalog and english, i have a band here in the philippines, my bandnamed JEFFPLANE. Mostly the songs in our band where written by our vocalist, i do little participation on my lyrics in the band. I have my own composed lyrics which i'm not yet finished. And some of my songs were not really in the groove on my band, of i just keep it and revised it to knew one. Its really hard to composed/write a song, basically because you need it by syllables, by ryhmes, by patterns, by modes of the music.
