Over the summer we had a horrible infestation of ladybugs. They normally go away during the winter. We have had a mild winter and they have hung around more than normal. It has been awfully cold over the last month, but we are still haveing a terrible problem with them in our house. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to get rid of them? Do they make your vaccumme smell funny? (mine seems to now after MONTHS of vaccumming DAILY!) Your help is appreicated! Have a wonderful day! See them critters in my window? YUCK!

I stopped by as I thought it was interesting that you wanted to get rid of them. I do have a problem with ladybugs, although I much prefer them to ants or any other kinds of bugs that I could have. So I have just learned to live with it. My 3 year old thinks it's great as she doesn't have to hunt outside for them. This is the first place that I ever had a problem with them before. They went away a month or so agao as it got really cold, but I expect them back as the weather warms up. I will keep checking back to see if people have any suggestions on how to get rid, but for now I will live with them when and if they return. :)

I am learning to live with them, but I am sick of vaccumming and then by the time I am done there are more! This morning, we had birds flying into the windows and landing on the screens. I finally figured out they were trying to get the 35 or so that are crawling in the windows! I am still waiting for a solution, thanks for your comment, hope we hear something soon!

While a cute little thing, too much on anything is pesty. :) If it warms up, try washing them away with the hose. For even more help, try ehow.com Good luck!
