Trying to find the name of a Movie

This movie is a walt disney film from the late 60's i think. It is NOT a cartoon. It is about these little people (human proportion but about 1/3 our size) and they live in a giant redwood forest that is under attack from development. They at some stage take a ride in a car (limousine) on their adventure to save the forest.
