In the part of the world where i live elections into political offices is seen as a do or die affair This is because in politics people are nolonger accountable to the people. The lead and defraud the people rather than serve and be accountable.they appropriate monies given to them to site developmental projects in their areas with impunity. They never obey the rule of law neither do there have regard for the law They terrorise,kill,and maim those who ask questions, and share the common wealth of the people amingst themselves hence they shoot guns,run with ballot boxes bribe election officials and even the voters This is the situation in some African countries If you are in such a country what would be your response
