do you think joint family is feasible in todays life???

Though I know there are lots of benefits living in joint family but now , with the differing mind set is it ok to live in joint family....my parents in law come off and on and we have a great time , but I dont know if things will change if we decide to live with them or they decide to live with us..........
Do u have nuclear family or a joint family.....my husband is abroad most of the times , so at the back of the mind I sometimes think of staying with them ...but my sons school is stopping me from doing so ....please give an insite ....

Me, my husband and our two daugthers live with my parents. I have to live wiith them though i have already a family because no one will take care with my parents. My elder brother is working in other province, my other brother is still in school. So i have to make sure that their needs are meet. Even if sometimes me and my husband has problem living with my problem, we just sacrifice for the betterment of my parents.
