How To Stop Child Bite Her Nail?

I think you should try and distract her attention a bit more than usual... its a bad habit to stick to... you can also try making her watch cartoons and sit right next to her and try holding her hands all the time also you can try puttin some sour taste like stuff on her finger nails that way he wont like the taste and stop doing that

my pal's mom used to apply soap on her child's fingers so tht whenever the kid acciedntly puts the mail in her mouth to bite,she would immediately withdraw it... after undergoing this experience several times, the child automatically stops biting nails!!

I use the hot stuff to stop thumb-sucking and my son asked for more! I think the soap might work It is habit and sometimes they can not break it easily. I painted my nails over and over and then picked it off. It helped, but mostly what caused me to stop biting my nails was when a really cute guy told me I would have beautiful hands if I stopped biting and I did! How old is your daughter? I assume you do not want to paint a boys nails1LOL. I would be careful about painting if she bites her nails as the polish could be harmful to her.

I'd start with explaining to the child compassionately that dad and mom feel bad about it and people move away when you bite your nails because it's a dirty habit.I'd make sure that I cut his nails or get him to do it on a regular basis.That probably would make him bite his cuticles which isn't as dangerous.Also,when he stops doing it I'd reward him with something he likes a lot.Child psychology at times is more difficult to understand than adult psychology,lol.
