What is YOUR light?

If you are a fan of the soap opera guiding light, you know what I am talking about. Your light can be anything or anyone that makes you happy, almost a passion. Guiding Light is doing a wonderful thing this year to celebrate it's 70th anniversary. They have teamed up with the Hands On volunteer network and the whole crew is doing a years worth of volunteer work. Not that they didnt before, this is just documented so hopefully more fans will see the difference they can make in being a volunteer. Guiding Light cast and crew kicked off the first event by rebuilding houses in Biloxi Mississippi. The episode was aired on Valentines Day and I have watched it twice since. It's very moving and causes me to swell with joy to see the way volunteering has effected them. I was a volunteer long before they started their campaign as I am very active in my local SPCA. :) It truly brings joy to my life. My lights are: 1. My animals 2. Family 3. Friends 4. Volunteering 5. Meatloaf :) 6. Music 7. The OC 8. Girls Nights 9. Giving to homeless (not money) 10. Lazy days at home
