talking over his mobile phone while riding his bicycle?

Oh I'm a big advicate for not using a cell phone while driving unless you have a handless head set. We've been haveing some commercials about the MADD (mothers against drunk driving) people calling up and asking someone if they are drinking and driveing while they are (the person MADD is calling) driving on the road. It's oxymoronic. They want you to not drive drunk but they are advocating that they can drive while on a cell phone. My god are some people just that stupid. Sorry but that just makes me pissed off. Some people just don't think.

He was just practicing a stunt my friend lol!! I can say onli in d philipinnes huh! Some individuals doesn't really know what are the consequence of what they are doing that any moment in that scenario can cause accident and harm them worst spare thier lives by just the misused of that cellphone. I really think that drivers in our country before getting thier proffesional drivers license should go through a series of briefing with the proper use of cellphone the do's and dont's of it to avoid accidents cause by merely using it while driving.

I believe using a mobile phone while driving is dangerous.I can well believe it‘s as dangerous as drinking and driving, so I always use a hands free kit while driving.

well that is really sad that people still do not care for the traffic rules.... even though when they all realise that is for their own good...their own safety.... I believe that one needs to be very much alert while driving.....coz one more thing is there... even if you are right, you never know the second person would be right or wrong.... your alertness might save you but what if the second guy's mistake smashes him in you, and alongwith him you too are at loss!!! So people out here there and everywhere, please DRIVE SAFE AND SOUND!!!!

oh mobile phones are very useful but people can be so crazy and so unkind while using them...you can see people talking on mobiles and riding, or driving a car or even a motorbikes..they're simply crazy...and dangerous..I hate people doing this..here in Italy we have recently had a law approved allowing people to use their mobile phones while driving a car only if they use an ear device to answer...you're not allowed to phoning if you drive a motorbike or a bike of course...I think either people don't realise how dangerous it may be for them and other or they simply like getting into troubles..

Oh my goodness he was putting not only his own life but the life of others in a dangerous manner. No I have not actually seen people using mobiles on the highways only drivers of cars. How stupid this man was he must not have a care in the world about his own life.

yes here in india this is a daily sight and yes there are minor accidents everyday in my city........... some people do it just as style...odd

Talking over his mobile phones are really bad one.Because it will cause accidents.Now a days all peoples in the world using the mobile phones in offices and personally.They are talking in mobile when the are moving and and they are stationary.most of the people talking through mobile when they are travelling,it should be avoided one.Bue to this lot of accident will happen. If they are talking in mobile on moving,their concentration only on the mobile,they will not concentrate on the driving.

yah, actually i had a friend who got hit by a car because of doing that. he was driving his bike around the village and he didn't notice a car coming in his direction. we're just thankful his hits are not that bad.

There are lots of people who use their mobile phone while driving. And it causes lots of accidents in our place. One lady who was driving his bicyle, took out her mobile phone to answer a call. She was so busy that she did not see an oncoming bus. The accident took her life. And she was a local beauty queen. What a waste. To loose your life out of your own stupidity. Why not park in a safe place if you have to answer a call, after all, the call may not be that important at all.

i can only say that either he is really uber stupid or he has a deathwish. i get mad when i see people driving and talking to the phone but your story really blew it. not only do they endanger themselves, they also endanger other people. gosh, some people really are stupid

A good friend of mine did exactly the same thing as the man you saw. To cut a long story short he was hit from behind by a car and spent many months in hospital. Now, he is in a wheelchair and may never walk again. Just shows what may happen.

I have seen people talk on their phone while riding their bicycle as well as motorcycles. It is not only dangerous to drive a car while talking on the phone but it is also dangerous to drive any other kind of vehicle, whether bike, motorcycle, riding lawn mower or anything else that you can ride. That was a very dangerous thing for him to do and on the highway as well. He should have gotten ticketed for that.

It is not advisable to talk over mobile while riding bicycle on highway. It is too much risky. He is inviting the accident.I have never seen a situation worse than this.

I do belive that people are toooo addicted to their cellphones these days. apperently there ois nothing that will stop some from speaking on it. i think that it is scary that someone riding a bike on an highway should be more careful and concentrate on riding the bike and not on a phonecall.

Yes, I saw many times people talking on mobile while biking. I scare to do this, but I do not think that everybody is so cripple than me.

I think this is careless. I hate seeing car drivers using mobiles without hands free. it's illegal here for bikers and car drivers, i hope that more people who do this will have more sense as accidents do happen and most cases its to those who don't deserve it and the driver walks away. On a highway, that is a little risky. I wouldnt even want to ride my bike on a highway even without a cell phone. If it was just on a road with little or no traffic though that would be fine, i can easily ride my bike with one or no hands. About people teasing accidents, thats not good, what if they accidently hit him and then they could end up in jail!
