I just added rockhound and rock collecting to my interest list and so far only one other person is in this category and I know there are a lot of you out there.
So share your tips and best finds while rock hunting. What do you look for? What do you like to collect? What are you best and worst finds?

Hi
I am in tennessee we have a lot of agate,Geode and Fossils. Mostly sedimentary rocks. Where are you located. I work in the oil and gas field so, i trave a lot. spent some time in colorado last year and found a little gold.I am at home now and don't know where i am going to next.hopfuly somewhere with rock and gold
