greenleaf - i hope you're doing better... it looks like you're getting back on your feet after what you've been through, and that's great! getting back to school and earning a degree is certainly a good place to start. check with the schools that you will be applying for if they offer scholarships and what the requirements for qualification are. they might also give you some information for financial assistance, if you want to take that route. you can also try to look into getting an educational grant. i'm almost sure you can find one especially for your situation. plus, the demand for nurses is extremely high right now and will continue to grow over the next several years, so i'm sure you'll find something. i'll check to see if i can find some resources for you as well. keep me posted on your progress.
