how many times do you go to the beach in a year just to swim?

I loved going to the beach as a child but never did learn how to swim (well I can swim but not over my head because as soon as I get over my head , I panick ). I take the children once in awhile in the summer as the little one's love to play in the sand but am nervous when the children go in the water so we got them a pool a couple of years ago . I put my older children in swimming lessons and it helped them to get over there fear of water a bit as they were nervous of the water to and I didn't want them to have the same fear as me .
