Has anyone ever tested video games for money?

I was just looking at this site that I promote and was wondering if it really works.I was thinking about joining it.Sounds like it would be fun to test video games plus it says you get to keep the ones you test.I was wondering if anyone has heard if it works or not? It is on my website on my profile as #10 on the list.

I would love to test games for cash and the bonus is to keep them..I've heard of it, but I don't know which site it is youre talking about...

It is listed on my website as #10 Video Game Testers .It cost to join that is why I was asking if anyone has done this before.

I havn't but that one of dreams in life is to test games in my free time for money, and work as a lawyer as like my day job. It would be pretty cool even if I knew someone that tested games for money yet alone a job. Getting to be a game tester I think is just my dream that will never come true. But hey never say never. I just might be one someday. =]

True it might happen.Maybe I will look into this further.Lots and lots of research.yuk! I will have to wait until next week sometime because I am in a stupid contest at the site I work at.

I signed up for a gaming survey company. I am totally blank on the name of the company. They only sent one offer. My son tested Everquest. He didn't get paid because he didn't follow thru. The game kept crashing his computer. He still would have got paid though. Typical teens. No concept earning money...free money they get...from Mom and Dad LOL
I will find out from my son the name of the company. He probably still has the envelop.

Thanks I would very much appeciate it as we are all gamers here.My husband and I used to manage Electronics Boutique until Gamestop took us over.Then we lost our jobs because we made too much money.All is fine now and for the better.You can only imagine all the games we got.LOL

mmmmmmm......you say you need to pay them...before you can test and earn some money...i think its a scam.....if they want your service, why would you need to pay them...they are the one who needs game testers....so they must be the one to pay.....mmmm its a scam....

I think it is something like surveys.You know how you pay for a list of paying surveys.They probably give you a list of sites to join.
