How to remove burn mark?

Hey friends..I recently got a kitchen burn while i was hanling hot steaming saucepan. The side of the hot pan got touched on my hand leaving a scar of small size. Although the burn is drying up but seems that it will remain as a permanent mark. If anybody knows how to remove the scar from developing then please let me know...I would appreciate suggestion for home remedy. Thanks

A paste of "Red Sandalwood in honey" applied once or twice a day for about a fortnight has a magical effect in erasing scars. We Indians usually follow this Ayurvedic medicine.

thanks for the advice...but i wont be able to find snadalwood here...do u have any other remedy?
