I used to read a number of daily newpapers . But for last few years I have given up the habit . I am really fed up with the monotonous news of corruption at high level of politics and bureucracy , killings and murder , terrorsts' activities etc . I am fed up because such news have failed to generate a mass awareness against all these negative developments .
Now I read only two local news papers and a national one .

I never read newspapers. I consider it a waste of trees, when I can the news on TV or online. And I can't stand having a bunch of paper piling up to dispose it. Such a mess.

I would say.. NONE
I read most news from the internet now.
I quit reading a lot of business newspaper because I had to read them a lot and everyday when I was at school for class discussions and research papers.
And now...after I got the degree..it's like ENOUGH
No more black ink on my fingers.
Just read some hi-light news from CNN.com or watch TV instead

i rarely read the newspaper. the main problem is that i can't read in the language of the current country i'm in. but back home, i usually got my news via the internet. also, in italy and europe, there are free "newspapers" that are very small but give you a little info on what's going on. hardly a substitute for real news though.
the newspapers print what the people want to read about, anna nicole, etc. if it bleeds, it leads. it's unfortunate that the majority of the news industry are no longer sleuths looking to expose fraud. maybe they are and the public is apathetic though?

We have three news papers at home. Two local and one national. Actually the two local news papers are from groups supporting rival parties. So we get know all that is left untold by one paper from the other. The national one is not of much importance nut it gives good coverage of international news. It's fun reading all these newspapers because sometimes we get to wonder what really happened after reading all three newspapers because most of the time all three give contrasting views and explanations of things.

I am not into newspapers. I read NyTimes headlines on line, but that's about it. My boyfriend reads about four newspapers a day. I don't know how he finds the time for that!!

I read only 1 newspaper a day, which is the local paper, The Star. One newspaper is enough already because it has many sections. There are the main paper, Section 2, InTech on Tuesdays, Youth on Wednesdays, Metro where there are news and happenings in my state, etc. Reading the newspaper can take up a few hours.
So far, The Star is my favourite newspaper. It's supposed to be the number 1 paper in Malaysia and I don't doubt it. It has great content and very informative articles. The words are easy to read and the paper easy to hold. I enjoy reading the newspapers that's why.
