We hear so much about poor Brittney Spears (gag!) She has shaved her head and gotten tattos (boo-hoo)Sounds like a publicity stunt to me-and a very immature one at that. My question is, the tatooist (is that a word?) that gave her the tatoos is quoted as saying she was screaming and writhing from the pain, and very hard to work with. Sooo, do you think he should have given her the tatoos or stopped? Is this any different from any other mentally challenged person getting a tatoo?

you know what, i don't like the girl either, i mean she's 25 and acting like a little 16 year old girl. no one ever taught her how to control and run her own life, they just did it for her. she was never out on her own and never really supported herself. i think thats the problem. she's being too controled by other people in her life that doing these things to herself is the only control she can have. i really don't think she was in the right frame of mind when she did it. i think the Wig the next day showed she had some regret about shaving her head. the tatoos i have no problem with since she has tatoos already. i think she needs to get her life together or she WILL lose her children to Kevin. thats what she should be thinking about. not her fame, not her music. screw the media and the public. the only thing you should be thinking about is how to take care of yourself so you can take care of those children. times are tough and she got royally screwed because she made bad decisions because she never really made a decision on her own in life before, its always been made for her. her mindset is still in teenage form.

sorry, forgot about the tattoo thing in my whole rant...
like i said, she wasn't in the right frame of mind when the whole things went down. i think if she was being too difficult then he should've stopped. just like the salon owner thinking she wasn't thinking right to shave her head and then she grabbed the thing and did it herself, i think she might have been either drunk or high at the time. but who knows. maybe if he refused she would have tried to do that herself as well.

I'm honestly not sure what being mentally challenged has to do with Brittney and tattoos. I do think an artist has the responsibility to make sure the client is able to make responsible decisions. I think pain comes with getting a tattoo. If she was that hard to work with, I think I would have stopped (if in his shoes) and let her go somewhere else to get it complete.

Personally I think that if I were the tatooist I would stop the process and tell her that if she can't handle it then she needs to leave. I think that Britney needs to grow up! I mean she has children now for goodness sake! What is she teaching them other than its ok to go around acting like a spoiled little brat. Seems like she will do anything for attention and I feel really bad for her kids because they are going to have to grow up with a mother like that.

I think he should have done whatever he does with all his other clients. If he normally would have stopped, he should have stopped. If he normally would have waited for the person to say STOP, he should have continued.
Really when a person walks into a tattoo parlor, I don't think it's the tattoo guy's responsibility to make sure they really want it or not.
And I don't think she's Mentally Challenged, she's just rebellious.
