I'm not sure exactly about that specific model, but the Schecter C-1 Elite is a nice guitar. Three Days Grace played it on their self-titled album and it has a full, bright sound. I would suggest you go to schecter.com and listen to some samples.

Schecter has only been around for a few years, but they make some good stuff. I have a Schecter Omen 6. It's got a beautiful, natural, dark wood body; has a nice tone, great action, and just plays well all around. I'd buy another Schecter.
I'm not familiar with their hellraisers, but I can't imagine it would be very bad. All I have to say is play it first, and if there's anything that doesn't feel good about it, don't get it.

I have a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser FR (Floyd Rose) and I have to say its the best guitar I have ever played. It is at its best when being played to classic rock / metal. but it also does a very decent job on blues, jazz and without the distortion. Mine came with two EMG pickups and a Floyd Rose Tremelo which is amazing. At first I was a little scepticle about buying a Schecter because I did not know a great deal about them. I was looking a Jacksons, Ibazez and Gibson. I tried these in a guitar shop and I have to say on some of the models Schecters sounded just as good, if not better. I would recommend Schecters to anyone but its all down to personal preference and I would say before buying any guitar that you should try it first.
