Am I the only one who doesn't care about celebrities' personal lives?

When Anna Nicole Smith died, my life didn't change. I didn't know the woman. I seen her TV show 2-3 times. I didn't think she was very interesting. Why is her death on TV all the time? Britney Spears got a divorce and shaved her head. Should I run around in the streets, screaming for an alien race to come down here and restore order to this world, or should I just go on with my life? There's something on Yahoo about Britney leaving rehab. If she needs rehab, I hope she gets it. But why would that be considered news? What do other people get out of this?
