I am not very good at controlling my anger when I am mad . I usually rant and rave at whoever is in range , but the good thing is that I cool off quite fast .
If I am really upset and know I am not going to cool off then I go some place to think about what has got me so upset and when I feel better then I go back home .

I am usually too polite to let my anger out on someone and too stubborn to give them the satisfaction of knowing they pissed me off! I usually just SEETHE inside for awhile. Eventually it all seeps out my ears and then I'm fine again, lol. I recently read an article that while people say it's good to get the anger out --now they are saying that's really not the case, that when you let it out you are focusing on it even more and it tends to accelerate. I guess the solution is to be aware of what sets your anger buttons off and try to avoid those situations.

I feel like those techniques only hold in the anger then when someone really ticks you off, all the bottled up anger leashes out and you go bonkers.
The best method is to just say what's on your mind in a professional manner and the problem will be resolved. Holding it in will only increase your blood pressure and allow for many hurt feelings along the way.
