How much should be spent on a wedding.

The happiest day of your life can quickly become the most expensive. My daughter is getting married this year. We want it to be very special and all our guests to have a great time, but what price would you think is reasonable. Prehaps you could relate it to the multiples of your yearly income.

I don't know of an exact amount, but my sister got married for under $5000, and this included her wedding dress!!
My boyfriend and I believe that a wedding should be as inexpensive as we can possibly make it, and still get what we want.
I want a dress that I'll be able to wear again, and he'll probably wear his uniform. We'll have the reception at a favourite Danish restaurant, and we won't invite too many people. It's about us, not about having 500 people there.

Its depend on both of you and its depend on what and how many people are invited in your wedding. Our wedding is once a life time and some people gave it a fabulous occasion to make it very expensive and beautiful wedding in your entire life.

I know that the wedding of my dreams would be very simple and pagan. I would like to have it outside with all of my family and friends standing or sitting in a circle around me... preferably holding hands, because I'm quite sappy about that kind of thing. :P My mom had her wedding out on the beach, had mostly family there, and wore a dress that had been worn by her grandmother. Weddings do not have to be super-expensive. Sometimes simple ceremonies are really nice, too.

I had a very nice church wedding with gown tuxes flowers and everything and a beautiful reseption and we only paid $6000. for everything. that is with my rings included. I think that some people go over board on weddings. My sister in law spent $30,000. for her and I'm telling you mine was nicer. Maybe because it was my special day.

One of the best weddings I attended was the daughter of one of my best friends. They did it on a very low budget and yet it was wonderful. I look back on it with great happiness. We all helped out and that was the best bit.
