loan legal advice needed

Hi,everyone,I am new to this forum so bear with me. I hope there is a member thats a lawyer.Here is my situation. I have been asked by a relative for financial help. A set amount every month.Myself and one other person are equal beneficiaries to this relatives estate.My relative wants to make sure that I get back all monies loaned plus interest,before division of estate. What I need to know is what is the best way to record these monies loaned each month? Is it as simple as getting a receipt each month? How should this receipt be worded? How can I indicate that the interest will also be calculated before division of estate? I will be glad to loan the money,but I don't want the other beneficiary to benefit from it when the estate gets divided.I hope you get the gist of info required. Thanking you in advance for any help offered.
