My mother and I grew from different worlds. Im privileged to obtain an education, Mama in her time had to quit school to do odd jobs including selling books. she did not finish high school. Today when I wash clothes, I just turn on the timer, Mama had to hike to the river. If I go to places I just drive my motor bike, while mama in her time had to trust the mercy of her good legs.. and I can see more education and schools today than in her days.. but why most people today are not polite than in her days most people are good than today?

Today, we are thinking that we are living is a more civilized world. Being civilized is conceived to be more educated, which is presumed to beget better understanding and knowledge of things than how they used to be. A civilized individual is expected to be kind, polite, easy to talk to, fun to be with and, a reliable one, too. The civilized world enjoys all the benefits of recent inventions and innovations, of the conventions that just lay about, and of those yet to come. Everything made available to make life easier for us to cope with and the world more livable. Then we find out for ourselves that this is not all so true. Since we have gone lazy because there are gadgets which do the difficult tasks for us, health problems crop up. And we are advised to observe some exercises we'll have to take daily. Walk or run for hours. Jog. We have to lift weights to keep the muscles the way they should be. There are so much more we can enumerate here - activities required of us now to work on while, during the olden times, they came along in the performance of people's daily tasks. Education is supposed to make us more civil and better informed. Yet what happens is, the more educated ones from better schools are very arrogant and boasts of their accomplishments to variable irritating degrees. It appears that education has failed to come up with its main goal which is to bring forth unto the world the more understanding and considerate men to look after the continuously going world. Looking at it in deeper perspective, we shall come to the conclusion life will never be better as the world ages. It only gets worse. The best years in this world happened years ago.

They are getting a lot of education but many of them are not getting education in humanity, how to treat others and how find the good things in other people instead of looking for weaknesses. I think people also had a more natural food earlier without a lot of additives and transfats that affect our brain. White sugar is also something that makes us feel bad and so is the rest of the refined foods. At least I feel both happier and more patient than before after eating cold pressed fish oil, a good fat for our brain together with other food supplements.
