Have you ever started a project, usually a big one, that you just did not finish? And, you had hoped that you would, and thought that, this time, THIS time, you would? Well, most of you know about the fountain/pond that it supposed to go in my backyard garden. Well, this project is still not done. It almost got completed, and then, my husband looked it over a few times, did not like the way it looked, and decided to take it apart. And, so here we are, putting it back together for the third time, since he keeps finding something wrong with it, and it is near to getting completed. However, I believe that before it gets completed, he is going to end up taking it apart again. And, putting more money into the darn thing (he's already purchased 3 more cans or "mortar," than the one that was provided).

Last quarter in school, I had to make a collection in one class. I made a dress that I really liked and it even fits me. But I never finished the last little things that need to be done, like sewing the hem and putting a lining inside. I just brought it home after it was graded, and it's still hanging in the bag. I haven't touched it since. I have so much other work to do that I never have time to go back to things I never got to finish, which sucks. Hopefully this summer I'll be able to finish it up.

Yes, hopefully you will be able to. That sounds like it is going to be very pretty, and, that is so cool that you can make clothes for yourself. I really wish I could do that too.

About 20 years ago I purchase yarn that was on sale to make each of my kids an afghan. I would start making the squares and maybe get a few completed and give up. It took me 20 years to decide that I would give it another try. From the many purchases of sale yarn, I managed to make 3 afghans. Not for my kids, but for their kids. Last year I managed to make an afghan for 2 of my kids, now I have to purchase more yarn to make one for the other 2.

LOL Aidonia :) You should make a rule that says you can't have another one until you add 10. :)

I think I have that problem as well lol. I think for me it's more of procrastination than anything else. I think sometimes I just like putting it off until I get energized enough to do it. But once I get to it, I like to keep going until I get it done. I'm going to start on my daughter's room *soon* lol so hopefully once I get it started, I'll keep going until I'm done.

LOL. We still have to finish our new front porch, I still have to finish a couple of quilts that are near completion among about a dozen other projects in the works. The only big project with a lot of work left to be done is the porch though. Everything else just needs the finishing touches that I haven't got around to yet ;)

I am the type of person that when I start something, I finish it no matter what. But, hubby is another story. Sometimes he will finish, and sometimes he will not if it gets too expensive to continue.
