Dreams and their meanings...

Do you believe that dreams have real meanings??? Please post the dreams you have had and what you think they mean...

I had a dream one night that I was in the middle of a volcano that was erupting and my kids where in the dream along with my ex.We stayed in the house while it was happening outside.When I woke up I read my dream book and it mentions that a volcano means that someone you know acts like one.Meaning erupts...like a volcano.Well,that explains why my ex was in the dream
I beleive that dreams all have a meaning..not that all your dreams will come true per say but they play a role in what happens in your daily life.

The volcano may be interpreted as your ex, but I am still not clear of why did you dream about being in that situation.... unless something happend to you during the day that reminded you of him.
With my question, I would like to find out if there is any relation between dreams, their interpretations and real life.
