Hi-- I can't tell you whether it will help your headaches or not, but I can tell you my husband said it was the worst surgery ever. After the surgery, they have to pack your sinus and nose with cotton to keep it from bleeding. It looked kind of like a tampon shoved up his nose and he had to leave it there for two days. So, he had to breathe through his mouth the entire time...and that got real difficult when he wanted to eat or drink or take his pain medication. My husband is a pretty tough guy, but he almost passed out when they had to take the packing out. The ear, nose and throat specialist told him it wouldn't hurt, just feel a bit weird. But they take the string at your nostril and pull out the wad of cotton that was soaking up the blood. The cotton swells with the moisture and you lose a fair amount of blood as they pull it out. My husband had it done to deal with his sinus infections. He used to get them every 2-3 weeks. It was better for about two years, but now the doctor says the bone spur has grown back. My husband says he won't do it again. He'd rather suffer with the sinus infections.

My x husband had it done and for him it grew back and he ended having the problems again. For some it really does work though, It all depends on what the problem actually is. Did they tell you that they were sinus headaches. When is the worse time that you get them.
