Man's best friend?Which animal do you think is?

There is a saying that a man's best friend is a DOG.I would have to disagree on that one.If you sit and think back in time when people lived off the land to survive did the DOG come in handy? I think the HORSE would have to be man's best friend.The horse helped people to travel(many miles)with their families and their belongings and helped cultivate the land for food.Who do you think man's best friend is?

I think its dog.. Horse is useful for man that is right but there are so many animal like cow,donkey and other are also very useful for us but I believe its dog
