No, its not a fairy tale result, it was a well earned victory for Liverpool. Barcelona just sleep walked with over confidence during the match and Valdez was caught napping at more than one occasion at the goal. Also, like always Rijkard keeps making poor choice while fielding first choice players. His decision to rest Iniesta, Gudjohnsen backfired on him. Even in the previous champions league final, it was Henrik Larrson who saved them from a certain loss in the final. It's a tall order for Barca now and i really doubt whether they got what it takes to win the Champions League.
