BCCI is not very keen to finalise the palyers' central contract before the Wolrd cup is over.In a way that is a wise decision. At least, the senior players beleive that their bargaining power will be stronger if they come back flying colours from the West Indies. But if they do not, their position will be weakened. After a better performance even the public won't mind a better pay for the players. Actually, the senior players earn a big fortune through their endorsement and they need not worry too much about the salary from the board. Instead, emerging and talented plyers should be ofered much more. No harm in offering performance based incentives. The Sehwags and Rainas would sweat. Just by being in the wagon they need not get handsome return. Play and earn your money. is it ok?

I guess this is not something new to the Indian cricket team. Whenever there is a big tournament the issue about contracts keep on coming. I don't know the proper reason for this but this is something very common in the Indian cricket team and I think these type of things should not be encouraged because it diverts the mind of the players from the main point of focus and right now it is more important for our team to win the World Cup that that than talking about their contracts. If they can win then they will get what they deserve

They are mad for money. Whatever they get they are not satisfied. Greedy people. Until they are slected, they are all good boys. Once they are certainties, then they demand too much.
