what's the mylot reputation all about?

The mylot reputation is the star by peoples name. You receive this star after posting 100 responses to discussions, so your almost their. People rate your responses in discussions and they also rate your discussion and this is how your reputation is decided. The higher the number the higher your reputation here at mylot. The reputation goes to quality of your responses. THe numbers range from 1 through 10. If you haven't already done so you should read the guidelines the link is at the bottom of the page. That's the rating system that myLot has. Users are given the chance to rate any of myLot'ers according to how they are giving opinions and advices by either a positive or negative rate. Oh, btw, the star's ontop of someone's avatar signifies their reputation, they've earned (thru ratings) it from the valuable posts they shared out.

On your 100th post you earn a star with a number on it signifying your reputation at mylot. The colors of the stars vary with the number on it, 1 being the starr and 10 being the highest. Once you get your star and you get a high number you take care of your reputaion to keep from your star rating fall, you post more quality posts. Goodluck!
