I have this officemate and she rants about peeople not having manners or breeding. This same officemate would pluck her underarms hairs in her cubicle...well yes in a way the office cubicle is treated as a private space of the employee occupying it but does that justify her habit of plucking her underarms in the office?

Definitely not. Even if I was in an office and the door was locked, I still wouldn't do it. These things should be done at home, at the confines of your room or bathroom. And there shouldn't be any reason to excuse such behavior. I wouldn't want my officemates to look at me and to think of my armpit instead of my face. That can be embarassing.

Lol. It's funny when people talk about manners and breeding but at the same time they didn't realize they don't have the perfect manners themselves. To me I would just laugh at her attitude and told her she isn't a living proof of what she says. She would be embarrassed about it for a while, but this is one way for her to learn not to criticize too much on others. Well, that's my opinion on this matter. Thanks.

Yeuk!!! To be honest the idea of plucking my underarms hair sounds very painful, so i wouldn't do it anyway, but to do ity in bascially a public place? How gross! I wouldn't pluck my eyebrows in public, let alone a fairly intimate area like underarms. Your officemante sounds a bit hypocritical to me!
