Would you help your child plan a murder?

A school in New Zealand apologizes for giving assignment "to plan a murder and describe how they would get rid of the body". The intention of the homework was to get kids thinking about people and their action and their motivation. This is done to encourage them to study more on the said topic.
Is this motivating or scary?
