Smart Women on TV

I am drawn to people who are smart, who think out of the box and contribute to the wellness of society. Such is Oprah. Do you watch her show? I expect myself to watch her show when i have a chance to get off work early. Do you think everything she says comes out of her brain or is it because she has great and few-of-a-kind writers? What do you think?

I definitely think it is a combination of things but I think first and foremost, she is just a very educated, grounded, caring person who wants to do good in the world. I think she has learned a lot from her experiences but also has a good support staff behind her. She's been through a lot and wants to see other succeed and I think she's amazing. I don't watch every show as some are better than others but I think she should run for President, forget Hilary, Oprah is IT!

I total agree with mizcheekz. She is very caring and always tries to do good in the world, look at what she's done for Africa and the new school she's built! its amazing! She is very well educated and by the looks of it has a very good support staff behind her. Her show is very well presented.

i watch her shows occasionally, at least when i can relate to the topic. what accounts for her phenomenal success, i think, is a potent combination of factors: business savvy, accessibility, luck, and her considerable skills as tv host. plus she comes accross as sensible, caring, well informed, etc.
