I do speak Punjabi and also prefer speaking it over any other language, I also love Punjabi music, punajabi language has a long and rich history. I have read that punjabi completely eastern and western both has like 100 millions speakers, yes 100 million, i got so excited when I read it, though many people can speak it, they can't read or write. it is really easy once you learn the letters and vowels, as it is entirelly phoenethic, and does not have as many annoying language rules as english.

intresting topic i like to know about language and also like to learn about them. iam not punjabhi iam sindhi but i know little about punjabi. in 20 century novels, plays, stories, other forms of prose began to be written in punjabi and most of the religious schollars of islam and mystics of this arena used the punjabi language for expressing their ideas and for propagating islam.punjab dramas and flims have brought great effect on peole's minds and made te language richer and more popular among the masses.punjabi is taught as an optional subject in punjab.there is a also department of the punjabi language in university of punjab where education at the master's and doctorate level is given.
