My husband and I are always completely honest with each other about our feelings. I believe it's the only way a marriage could work. I think if you always have to keep it all inside when your in-laws upset you eventually resentments will build and it could cause tension in your marriage. Besides... he's you're husband... he should defend you whether it's his parents or a complete stranger.

Be trustworthy, and true to your word. Let him know he can depend on you to do what you say you will do. I think mutual trust is a very important element of a successful marriage. I think it's great you can put up with the bad in-laws, but I hope your husband sticks up for you when they mistreat you!
