Pride and Predjudice

Have you read Pride and Predjudice by Jane Austen? Do you think the movie gave a just portrayal of the novel? I haven't seen the movie, but according to my friends, there were some parts which did not show full depictions of some important scenes! Tell me more about it!

I have read this book in Chinese serval times.Now i am reading the English version.It's one of my favorite books.I don't have any wish to see the movie.I have a principle that once i red the novel,i would never see the moive which was always disappointed.
