Prince Harry's regiment will be deployed to Iraq, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has confirmed. His regiment, the Blues and Royals, has been told it will serve in Iraq as part of the latest deployments. The prince will be the first senior royal to serve on the front line since Prince Andrew in the Falklands in 1982. Defence Secretary Des Browne is expected to give more details on the deployment in a written statement to the Commons later. Earlier, the MoD declined to confirm rotation details, as have Downing Street and Clarence House. what do you think? will be able to take contole of the situation?

I am surprised they are allowing the royal children to go. I do not believe they will see any real action, I am sure they will even have their own private security protecting them.

I think they want to be a commander of royal army in the time of his father or his brother.

I'm not a fan of the royals im afraid, I view them as costing the British tax payer a great deal of money while they give nothing at all in return, the Queen for example could have listened to the British public and told Blair to remove the troops form Iraq, but why do that when you get given millions of pounds from tax payers? why bother doing anything at all in fact? so I thought I should explain my bias first :) But yeah, its about time that someone in the Royal family did something useful, I seriously doubt he'll see any kind of action though and is more than likely there for show.
