What do u consider archilles as positive or negative in film troy???

firstly i must correct u its achilles and not archilees....and then to the main topic i think achilles was right in what he did bcoz we wont have remebered his name thru ages if he would have left the battle in between...thiugh he would have lived a prosperous life but his main aim was to become immortal as it is shown in the beginning of the film.

I think achilles was made to play a negative role in that movie, but in the book he was the hero

Archilles..... a powerful warrior. with lot of power and attitude and courage.. but his quality of fearless and leading alone and not working under makes him different,egoistic and to take revenge of his cousin without knowing the truth... so this quality makes him different and puts him under the negative character.. but as in the end.. the way he gives hector's body back to his father n 12 day peace n lets bressels free.. and saves him from the king this puts him under a nice guy image so in the end it can be said he was a good guy with some grey shades(Bad qualities).

i think he was fight for the country not for agamemnon,the cruel king so as well as me is concerned he was a great patriot and ready to fight for his country,so that he was a positive charater on that side

i take him as positive but on the film's idea he's negative and he's the enemy to the trojan btw i thought he's achillies

troy is best moive from holiwood and i think that archilles as positive in this moive all war based on him according to me he encourage soliders to fight and give them positive thought like we will win. he also won lonely shore of troy.so in my opinion archilles is positive.

Definitely, Achilles was negative in the film "TROY". The reason behind this is that he supported Armamegom in his act of cowardness. If he should not have supported int the trick of making wooden horse, then he would have been a hero certainly... Anyways, he is a man with immortality, a great soldier...

for certain archilles is a positive caracter in troy. he is also a type. the warrior who fights for no flag, with apetite for blood speling, but who finally falls inlove.
