how to keep the mind happy?

Hi people, pl give me suggestions to keep the mind free of worry and fear as it seems I do it all the time.Or how to be calm atleast inspite of anything all the time.Don't say its not possible.One of my friends is calm and composed whatever the situation is..Even if you put her in front of a 1000 people to talk or even dance..

Well, sometimes its unavoidable that we feel depressed for the day..but for the health its not a good side, i believe in Meditation which will balance our mind and helps to be normal at situations. and even i sleep at times.

Well, honestly it depends on the person's personality. I used to have severe anxiety issues and I'm now on medication for it. If you ever get panick attacks or anxiety attacks that really dramatically freak you out for a small period of time, you might consider medication.. As for the everyday small stuff, here are some things I do: When I feel hopeless or I can't acheive something, I remind myself what I have to be proud of and what I did acomplish. When I'm worried about something completely out of my hands, I find faith in people or things and think to myself "Well, whatever is meant to happen will happen." Most of all- during any situation, know that if you learn from it you made the best of it. Everything happens for a reason so calm down and trust that despite how horrible something may seem, it will eventually lead to good things. And in the future when you look back, you'll know you were right.

I think it all happens due to lack of clear goals in life.there may be some unhappy memories of childhood. We are living in the age of information and speed.one can not find time to fulfill ones passions.you may find someone trust worthy to share your problems.this will releive the burdon.and you will be happy.
