Hi, For me a true friend is someone who would always be there for you. Not only in the happy times but also in the bad times. There are many people who are misled with the concept of friend. And many become frustrated because they thought they have found a true friend but when problems come, these so called friends just left them. And because of this, many people does not believe in real friendship. But I can say that their are still true friends out there but only very hard to find. These people are those who are willing to sacrifice everything for friendship sake. These people are those who are there when you need help and not because they want something from you. They are there because they want to offer something for you and not to harm you. This is the characteristic of a true friend for me.

A real friend would be someone that is there for you in good and bad times, someone you can trust and count on just like a brother or sister. A friend is someone who cares about you and accepts you for who you are and not what you do and have.
