A Fact That Can Not Change - Jesus Loves You

Jesus died for you, why would you doubt that He would stand beside you? Wherever you are, so is the King; Jesus never leaves us, we are the ones that leave Him. Sometimes life gets too busy and little by little we step out of His presence. I admit that I haven't been reading my bible the way I used to. I used to read it front to back and then over and over again. Each time it would hit my spirit in a different way and I miss that. Jesus loves me, just as He loves you; so I know that He's waiting patiently for us to be devoted to Him like we once were. I asked Him yesterday to take away whatever was going to take me away from Him, I don't want anything in this world more than I want Jesus. I just didn't realize that I was what was coming between my relationship with Him. He wants me to come closer, and so I ask for forgiveness as I prepare to step back in line. There's danger in not holding on to that Word, the devil knew that and I ignored that. I need that Word to deposit inside my heart, but how can it when I'm not reading it? How can you quench you're thirst if you don't drink? I need God, but I haven't been seeking Him, I've been asking for a word from Him; when he already supplied that word long before He ever placed me within my mother's womb. I have to run now, I have some reading to do. Much love, byfaith518

Amen, I think it is very important in our lives to spend time every day in prayer and reading the scriptures. These two things keep our minds where they should be, on the Lord, and help to build us stronger and stronger to help fight the battles in our daily lives of evil.
