What do you think Heaven or Hell are?

Do you think heaven or hell are places you would go to after you died? Do you think you would be paid for your deeds in your life after you are dead?
I think you visit either hell or heaven or perhaps both befor you die. In fact just before you die. I think just when your life ends each and every of your deeds both good and bad is presented to you and you have the capabilty to actually understand them and their implications. You are presented with the whole life of good and bad things you in just that moment and are given the ability to appreciate them. Imagine then the happiness you would feel on a life well lived or the pain on a life full of sins and a wasted one. I think this is what heaven or hell is. What do you say?

Heaven is a plane of existence (sometimes held to exist in our own universe) in religions and spiritual philosophies, typically described as the holiest possible place, accessible by people according to various standards of divinity (goodness, piety, etc.) Those who believe in heaven generally hold that it is the afterlife destination of some, many, or all humans. In unusual instances, humans have claimed, according to many testimonies and traditions, personal knowledge of Heaven. They then presume this is for the purpose of teaching the rest of humanity about life, deities and notions of the afterlife.[
so my choice is heaven :)

Thanks for all that information. But I have also read and heard that heaven has all the good things that good be imagined and hell all the pain. But pleasure and pain can only be experienced by the senses. I mean if one is put in a pot of boiling oil he would only be able to experience if he had a body. So in the context of your explanation and heaven or hell are these pleasures and pain only symbolic? Do they refer to pain or pleasure in a different dimension that could only be experienced by the soul?

when you will go in either of them, you will know. i wish that all of my friends go to heaven and do not have to see hell at all
