Do you get enough sleep at night?

I don't. Last night, I went to sleep about 3:30 am and got up at 6:30 am... The thing is that this is not unusual for me. I usually don't go to bed until after around 1:00 am and usually up around 5:30 - 6:00 am. I'm always tired and I'm always saying that I'm going to start getting in the bed early... but it NEVER seems to happen. What about you? How many hours of sleep do you get at night?

No, last night I was up at 3:00 this morning I just couldn't sleep. I don't know why I wanted to geet back on computer, that what I do when I can't sleep. but I just couldn't manage to get up I just layed there. I couldn't go back to sleep when I finally went to sleep I woke up late. what do you be doing up untill 1:00am. I bet I know LOL.

A normal human being must sleep for atlest 7-8 hrs a day but for the last couple of weeks i have been sleeping for onlu 4-5 hrs a day..and i think that if this continue's then i will have some problems....so i would go to bed a little earlier today...

i WISH that i could sleep 7-8 hours a day! i've been surviving off of about 4-6 hours and maybe a 30 minute nap during the day for what seems like forever. between my son and my bf, i just can't find the time to sleep.

The normal workday isn't long enough for me to work, have fun in my freetime and get enough sleep. I usually sleep around 6-7 hours but I would need 8 or more but I don't have the time for that additional hours. I also have many times problems to fall asleep too because my damn head doesn't stop thinking.

i work during the day time, and i rest in the evening. but i get very little sleep actually

I know for a fact I dont get enough sleep. On average I get about six hours of sleep a night. Being a teenager I know many, many others who dont nearly get enough sleep, not even as much as me. Now a days with the workload that is stressed on so many teenagers, we can get to sleep until very late even if we wished to sleep earlier. All I can say is thank God for the creation of caffiene!

When i have trouble sleeping ill take a warm shower and spend 10-30 min in meditation that usually does the trick for me

A lot of nights I go to bed around 3:30 or 4 am and get up at around 9 or 10 am. So that would be a no, I do not get enough sleep at night yet seeing as how I sleep in the daytime anytime that I am tired I guess that I am doing just fine in the sleep department.

no i never got enough sleep.cause i daily go to bed at 3:30 but it takes half an hour to sleep.

No I really don't get enough sleep. No matter how tired I am I am almost always up to 12:00, but lately it has been more like 1:00 - 1:30. I usually set my alarm for 6:45, but I keep hitting the snooze button until about 7:15 (sometimes 7:30).

i do. u should try to sit and meditate before going to bed. see if it works, pray to god and soothe your mind, relax it. when u fall asleep it will be peaceful then, without dreams and sound. so u get up fresh. it works for me, try it maybe it does for u too.....:)

it's not so much that i don't want to get to sleep. it's just that my bf is constantly talking to me or waking me up or whatever, so i'm adapting his sleep habits which are horrible.

i think i get enough sleep, i usually sleep past midnight but i make sure i wake up after 7-8 hours of sleep. and i feel good because of this practice.

Do you guys take naps during the day? I am at Stanford and I just took a class called sleep and dreams, with Dr. Dement who is the authority on sleep deprivation. If you are taking naps through out the day that could be effecting your body's natural sleep cycle. So its better that if your going to nap, that it is no more than 20 minutes.

No i dont get enough sleep at all.I dont know if its because i work overnights or what.On my nights off i can go to bed real late and get up bright and early around 5 am and stay awake during the day.

i dont....last night i do not sleep until 3am today....although i close my eyes but my brain still working. this make me tired when im in the class...i think i only sleep 3-4 hours a day

Though from last one month, i am getting enough sleep. but before that it was the tight schedule, i went to bed on 2am and woke up around 6 o'Clock. i am sure its going to start again from next month. but i have to manage to work hard and acheive my goals. BUT ENOUGH SLEEP IS NECCESSARY TO LIVE, AND FOR OUR HEALTH

About me,i am studying in product design so,i have to do a lot of project. Normally i went to sleep about 3-4 a.m. When i have a class at 2 p.m. from Tueday to thursday, i woke up at 1 p.m. I have about 45 minutes to take a bath and 15 minute to go my university.It is lucky to me that my condo is near to my university. On friday,i have a class at 9 a.m. so i have to woke up early at 8 a.m. But i can come back to sleep because my class is finished at 2 p.m. On saturday-monday,i don't have a class ,i can wake up what time that i want.

I get around six hours of sleep everyday, try sleeping early for once, you'll notice how tired you really are. I tried sleeping at 12 last weekend and it was great. I felt completely rejuvenated after that.

Whenever I am up to something new,especially if it was an exciting idea ...I will not fall asleep easilly and I will get up early too . My mind work all the time "I guess even while I am sleeping,so I don't get sound sleep". And Since I am a multiple sclerosis patient my body get very very fatigued with those sleepless nights, not "just tired ". It's my habit to get up early around 5:30, disregard the sleeping hours. So I believe the best thing to do in my case...is just to stop thinking at all.
