I have not graduated from college yet. But one thing's for sure. I would like to practice my profession as a nurse. In fact, I want to become a Military Nurse. I find it so challenging when you have some military involvement. Being a successful Nurse someday is what I'm focusing and trying to achieve right now. It runs through my veins. That would be one way that I could render my service not only to those who are sick, but also to those who need me. How about you? Do you practice your profession? I'm interested to know what you are into right now.
Happy postiing!

As of the moment, no I have not yet practiced my profession as an Accountant. I still have to proceed taking BS Accountancy and pass the board exam to be a licensed CPA. Currently, I'm working in as a Business Loans Consultant in a call center. I needed to work to earn money and savings so that if I could finally decide to take my secondary course, then I can be able to support my education. I'm glad that you already know what you really want to become soon. Keep that spirit in you and goodluck to all your endeavors.

Thank you for responding. I know that we can achieve what we dream for as long as we'll really work hard for that to achieve it. In my case, I think after my graduation, if my parents would permit me, I will look for a job to support my review and the board exam.

I'm on the verge of practicing mine.
I never truly planned on being an author. It just sort of happened..I'd planned on becoming a private investigator. And I'm going to be both as it turns out -- with any luck anyway.
It just happens that I'll be investigating before I'll be distributing my book.
I dunno..I love them both. Though I'll always write, I'll be working more than I will be writing. Or at least that was the plan. I just..I've been described as a highly creative person. I like to draw, paint, sing as well as write..and I don't think I'd be truly happy if I wasn't doing one of those things -- even if I get successful as an investigator. Inestigating..I'm not sure why I've been drawn to it. Maybe it's lure of being more flexible than the police -- the fact that people who have very real problems but feel they can't go to the police can go to me..that my profession will be something many people need, that will actually help people..without having to deal with the pressure of being a girl on the police force and worry about not stepping beyond some rules and regulations which may get in the way of me doing my job effectively.
Though I am very young, not even in college yet (despite the fact that by time I can drive I'll be in college, which is like..next year or so -- I'll turn sixteen in 2008). I'm working now unofficially where the world's concerned..but to get my liscence after college to investigate bigger and more serious cases I need about a month's worth of hours or so of experience..so I'm starting next monday..figured it was wise to start early so I wouldn't have to cram too much later, meanwhile earning a decent amount of money. As for publishing..well, I go under a pen name..so it won't hurt how I work -- and eventually the money I get from it should help.
Hopefully I'll do okay lol.

Not at the moment...am a licensed teacher but currently working in one of the call center companies here in the Philippines... but I don't have any regrets for choosing a call center job over a teaching job coz am enjoying my life here...giving up my teaching career is actually the term...lol i liked it here coz i got no more sleepless nights for the lesson plans, making of test questions, and computing of grades... but am not saying that am gonna stay here 'till resign... I still do have plans of going back to teh teaching field again... in God's time... lol

Unfortunately no, not yet anyway. I've done my law courses and trainer to be a solicitor, but it's so hard to find a training contract, so while i try to find one i'm currently working to pay the resnt as a Health & Safety Administrator. I guess it's better than working at McDonalds.

my vocation as wife and mother, I do practice on occasion, lol, j/k. I am also trained in nursing, but decided my career right now is my family...but it is nice to have the education and background, and which I did formerly practice.
I think you have good aspirations for your future and would like to encourage you in pursuing them. The military (U.S) needs more good nurses, so many in the field lack the charisma and caring essential to being good as a nurse. They have forgotten that it is a profession of servitude, and instead just consider it a means to a good paycheck. Which by the way, in the military you will receive a very good paycheck. Especially if you are studying to be an RN or nurse practitioner. best of luck in your endevors.

Sadly, but i havent practice my profession.. i am physical therapist but now im into medical transcription. thing is, therapy is not so well-paid in the philippines, and going to the US is such as stringent process.. so i just make the most of what i have.. i had transcription which just makes us of my skill as a good typist and since i am well exposed to medical terminologies, good for me. now i am working outside the philippines in a medical center which is also part of my dream when i was still in college. God knows the desires of our hearts.. He gave me a career wherein I can make use of the talents he has given me. i hope you can find your own niche too! God bless
