What kind of foundation would prepare you to face the future?

I was 18 yrs old back in my "financial-pressured days" and I had to apply for a job as a call center agent, and upon applying we cannot prevent spending money for transportations and processes of application. I applied for four different companies and institutions and unfortunately I always end up failing the last tests... My rationale was: I was unprepared I was too young I am still a college student I have no experience It was my first time to apply (excused) There are so many instances in our lives that we have to break the barriers of life and enter a new chapter into our lives. And yet upon entering this new chapter of our lives we tend to experience failure and disappointments. Why do you think so?? I think and believe that in any angles of life we should always get ourselves prepared and established a good foundation. PARADOXICALLY SPEAKING: Though the only thing that I reasoned out to myself was that of being unprepared, I was suprised that the moment I took the risk of applying for a job at a very young age was the only thing that made me prepared for my future experience. I took all the critisisms not as to destruct my being but rather to construct my being. TO SUM-UP: Putting yourself to a very risky and uncomfortable situation makes you prepared for the next battle of your life.

i think if i have a strong foundation in english speaking in my high school & college, i can face everything and i'm sure i will become successful in anything i pursue. i have all the gutts, the knowledge, but i always fail when it comes to english. english speaking made my career not so good.

definitely yes, but there are still alternatives in dealing with english vocabulary, such as reading of books and all stuffs that involve english.. But thats really true if you did not invest in your high school and college life ,you might get a hard time dealing with your future.
