What are your opinions on what Tim Hardaway said?

Do you think it is fair that he got fired? Do you think he should have freedom of speech? or do you think everyone's reaction was right on the money? That he deserved all the media to bash him. Let me know.

As a citizen of the United States, he most certainly has the right to say whatever he wants. However, as a celebrity, he also has to live with the consequences of voicing such an inflammatory and outright bigoted opinion. It is my personal opinion that he deserved the backlash he received because his opinion is hateful and wrong. He has every right to state his opinion, just as I have every right to state mine.

I know exactly what you mean. That is the price you pay for being a celebrity. Don't get me wrong I don't agree at all with what he said. Though, there are people defending him and saying that there should be no consequences and they should leave him alone. I think that is being ignorant.
