depression can be caused by lots of things, not just loneliness. it can be baby blues, disease related, chronic pain, etc. and it is very hard to deal with at times. but yes, try to keep busy, not isolate yourself, go for a walk, window shopping, listen to upbeat music, watch a comedy show or movie, etc. find what works out for you, and pamper yourself when you can, cuz your worth it. and there are sometimes you just have to feel it, and work thru it. just try to remember that you're not alone...angelhugs

There is the worst part of the dipression is this that you are not able to control your thoughts. like why he said so why it happened to me etc. Even while working these thoughts troubles you and some time later you realize oho I am not able to do the work also( new anxiety) lol!!

All of us go through these down time, depressing moments in our life due to loneliness. You can never tell when will you be hit by this feelings of loneliness. What I do when I feel this way before is go to my bed and wallow the whole afternoon til I fall asleep. But now, what I do is make myself busy by looking for some fun stuff on the internet and listening to music to wiped out my depression.

Yeah I totally Agaree with you. Sharing is the most important part in human life. There is no problem in this world that can be solved. But none is so competent that can share it all alone. So one must need others to help him her out. Here the ego plays a evil role. We dont want to share ourself witheverybody. isn'ti it?

i dont agree with you . what you are talking about is simple sadness.simple sadness is not the depression. depression has its diagnostic criteria. this is the disorder which is caused by disbalance of neuroreceptotrs. some of these are serotonin, norepinephrine. acytylcholine , etc.
