Hi everybody. Since last night I have been getting sicker, and now I am shivering with fever and I have the flu!! which really sucks, head aches, coldness, sore limbs etc..
Ofcourse i drink tea and try to drink much water, but it is not really helping me at all. Must I just ride it out like a man, or does anyone have these killer tips and home remedies to help me out. All responses get a +...

Try to get plenty of rest, drink plenty of fluids, if drinking tea dry to avoid the caffine ones.
You can use the teas that are for colds and flu those help, also the ones that are to support your immune system.
Extra vitamin c helps.
Chicken soup may help you feel some better, or any soup that is mostly clear.
If you do not start feeling better in a few days you can always go to the doctor and see if they will give you any medicine.
The doctor would not give my dd anything and she is sick I think that was a waste of money to even take her.
The reason that I took her was because she was sick, so the doctor said she would be fine although her ears were inflamed and swollen and she was running a fever.
I ended up going towalmart and getting her some eardrops for the pain in her ears.
The ear drops and vitamin ca nd cough drops were cheaper than the doctors visit.
That kinda got on my nerves.
Anyway, we are all still sick here, hope you all get better soon, remember to not get deyhdrated (drink plenty of fluids) so long as you are getting fluids in eatting is not as important until you get better, if you can eat then eat though.
Sometimes eatting when I am sick makes me throw up so I would rather just not eat.

Hi there, well when it happens to me I always make a little cocktail of Vitamine C + paracetamol, drink a lot of water, tea, juices... and SLEEP. Very important to rest, and let your body recover! some people say that your can have tea with rhum or whisky in order to make your body sweat, to be honnest I never tried it so I would not advise it to anyone.
Get well soon!
